Basic Jazz Chords (7th Chords)
Overview
The following is a chart of the basic jazz chords that have been discussed. The first six are the 4 note chords which are flavored for jazz music and can give a smoother sound. The first row features the chords that have the roots on 6th string and then second row features the chords that have the roots on the 5th string. Remember that these are moveable shapes.

The next 6 are same chords but these have 6 or 5 notes as opposed to just 4. If you playing rock/pop or funk music, you may find these are more suitable chords to use. Like above the first row has the roots on the 6th string and the second row has the roots on the 5th string.
