Major Scales In The CAGED System

Overview

The following is an overview of the Major Scale found in the CAGED system. Play through these starting with the first one and continue through each shape to the last one. Remember that these are moveable shapes and can be played in any key not just the key of D which is what we have used for these examples. The red outlines identify the root notes of the scale, so if you wanted to play these scale in the key of G, just put the dots with the red outline on the note G. Simply really.
